The dispensaries that are were granted permits claimed that they would generate several millions of dollars of revenue. Do they? Really? I dont think so.....hmmmmm

Oh, great work boys! Remember these dinosaurs come election time and vote them OUT. The reefer madness mindset continues here in our elected reps. Never mind that cannabis has been shown to affect apoptosis in skin melanoma or that cbd will reduce the plaques and tangles between synapses endings in the brain. Big pharma has NOTHING for dementia as all US research $ goes to find what’s detrimental in cannabis not how it benefits our health. Hawaii has numerous civic projects that need funding. A tax on recreational weed would help reduce the drain on taxpayers. So many possible benefits going forward as related to biomass, removing toxins from our soil courtesy former pine and sugarcane chemical use and hempcrete for alternative housing options as building materials costs spiral upward. Hawaii and our gov’t reps must rethink this issue and understand how a reversal of their misunderstanding is due. Our citizens deserve more.
