Individual Support Manager

Megan Dung

Megan Dung is the Individual Support Manager for Honolulu Civil Beat.

Born and raised on Oʻahu, Megan comes to Civil Beat with a background in music, arts administration, and K-12 education. Upon graduating from Punahou School, she received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and English Minor from Chapman University, and her Master of Fine Arts in Arts Leadership from Seattle University. Prior to her role at Civil Beat, Megan worked with local private schools, St. Andrew’s Schools and Hawaii Baptist Academy, to further their missions through fundraising initiatives.

Aside from supporting Civil Beat’s loyal readers and donors, Megan fuels her passion for the arts by directing the women’s choir and serving as a board member with Hawaii Education of the Arts (HEARTS). She can also be found at home with take-out from a local restaurant, hanging out with her son, Benny, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She welcomes any and all restaurant recommendations and dog-related stories to her inbox. You can reach her at mdung@civilbeat.org.
